Maria Sharapova def. Daniela Hantuchova
6-3, 6-1
If you really think about it, you never really do know what another person is thinking. this may sound ridiculously obvious...buttt think about it; you'd think every person would be programed to think in about the same way. much like how animals of the same species react to different situations.
so its just a hunch; do people actually all think within the same framework, or do some of them just seem different because they're putting on some pathetic front? (which sometimes works.) What explains the fact that some people get on with some people like peas in a pod, and some just don't? i'm sure it can't be THAT simple. people can have personalities YES. but does that affect the way different individuals think? or like i said; do we all think the same way. or do we follow the same pattern of REASONING.
take a cue from the PR guys, who seem to get along well with just about ANYONE. i don't know; its just a thought.

"Blasting down the highway in the batmobile,
we squeal in the light; and we're going to paris.
caught between my passport, and a rootbeer float,
i turn the car around cos you made fun of me.
you tell me i'm ridiculous;
a clown, so preposterous;
who would believe the king was the joker?
hiding behind his confidence"
Ridiculous - performed by Nicholas Cage in
Leaving Las Vegas
Sunset; Barcelona, Spain.
Ridiculous. That explains the weather. and that describes the recent change in NS liability. and that also explains the fitness test i have to take before my birthday comes. which also explains the fact that i have to train in this back-drenching humidity. oh. and which also describes how i keep falling asleep nowadays when i want to watch something. like how i missed the first half of the oc this week. bummer.

All those in support of the oc say 'aye'. unbelievable. i just realised that channel 5, during the 3 weeks that i was away, did NOT screen the episodes to follow. instead, they're gonna start rescreening it this week. AFTER my arrival. man i love these guys. Not that i'm the biggest oc fan, its just too good to not watch. min, stop it. no. min, NO. NO, min, stop watching. TURN IT OFF!!! TURN IT OFF!!! you've got a PAPER!!!!
breathes

Charles De Gaulle Airport, Paris, at the train terminal, when we'd just arrived on day #1. This was before
the ceiling of terminal 2E caved.

Oi mates! Arrived in London yesterday at about 1:30pm, and its surprisingly warm. warmer than spain.
and it feels like home because, 1. i understand what the general public is saying, 2. they understand me,
3. 60% of the general public, i'd say, is from singapore, and finally 4. cars are finally on the correct side of the road.

John with Catherine at Versailles. This is one of the French King´s palaces. damn those rich bastards. i think his name was Henry.
John in front of the Villa Savoye. He is going to kill me for posting this photo. yes, he looks retarded. pose choreographed by yours truly.
Up near the roof garden of the Savoye. John wong is up on the savoye ramp looking dynamic. Kudos to John, ever the man of action.
so that´s the photo update for now; these were all taken in paris. a few good ones are burnt on a cd-r, so be patient, ladies and gents, you´ll get to see ém. Adios!

HOLA! we´re in barcelona now, arrived yesterday morning, and walked all the way to the hostel. it ain´t a big city, really; once you´ve been to paris, every other city seems to be smaller and more walkable. not paying for those damn metro tickets helps heaps too, so we´ve been eating a little better. next to try: TAPAS.
Min, did get to say hi to Andy. He says he can never forget what mandy did to him and says he wants you back. i know. its crazy. but what the heck right. we celebrities live crazy lives. and oh, how´s mardy though? hhaha. didn´t get to catch ferrero, his match was too late in the day and we had to leave; so didn´t catch federer either! bummer. but we managed to watch Guga smash the living daylights outta some belgian qualifier, even though the guy could hit 209 mph serves. that´s kuerten for you.
Its been great fun, too bad i might not get to get some photos up till i´m back, but i promise í will once i do! can´t really resize´ém photos here at the internet cafes, and the keyboards are funny too. who ever saw "ç" on a keyboard back home?!¿
anyway. missing home and missing the food especially. too much bread makes the stomach turn. haha. but for now paella, tapas and gelato rule the menus for the day. its gonna be another day tomorrow morning, my last full day; in the sleepless city that is Barcelona.
