will be back soon....0055am on the 27th of dec...see you all soon!
Toronto Maple Leafs 2 - 8 Ottawa Senators
Good thing i wasn't in Ottawa i guess.
so i arrived in Toronto yesterday evening...and whaddaya know.. qiu's whole house agreed to a conspiracy! to NOT tell me that they're cancelling the trip to Ottawa to watch the Leafs vs the Sens! WTF WTF! Their reason? "Oh...if we'd told you then you wouldn't have finished your work in time." WTF WTFFF! Oh well i guess they were kind of right about that...in a week i finished a 3000-worder, a 38-pager...a CHAIR, AND a scrap book. talk about motivation right. anyway i still have the skiing to look forward to, and even then..i'm finally free from work once again! well, for about 2 weeks i am..before school opens on the 9th of january again. WTF WTF! anyhow. it's good to be free.
Was thinking about old Galt (Cambridge)...and how four months is neither too long or too short. i guess too short to really get to know people? and too long to be away from home, the people you love, and the FOOD that you love. But i guess i've gotten to know a few of my class quite decently, which makes me quite a happy person. Plus some of the profs here are quite cool, and chummy (haha). always good to gather more contacts around the world, ya know..
Oh well. waiting to depart for the pub at 7-ish. Y'all have a good holiday season, yeah. cheerio.
Somehow this mugging session for tomorrow's exam is not turning up with any results WHATSOVER. i can safely say i've got 20% of the material into my brain in the past 2 days, during which i planned to study..this is horrible, but nonetheless, i will soldier on, maybe i should turn off this damn computer, its such a big distraction. Anyhow it helps to know that 2/3rds of the exam tomorrow is open book, meaning i'll have reference to my books and notes...which is a good thing. bad news is that the 1st third is made up of memorizables, something i'd thought the western world had done away with, well i guess i'm horribly wrong. as of now, i'm waiting for that lovely large pizza from New Orleans Pizza (i'm not kidding, that's their real name), and typing this blog entry with a Blue Pilot V7 sticking out of my mouth. Notice how its in my mouth, NOT in my hand, my hands are typing, and my mind is somewhere else. (hmm maybe in Ottawa where i'm gonna catch the Sens vs the Leafs on Saturday? or how about in Tremblent where i'm going skiing on MONDAY?! ARHAHRARGHGHHGHGGHGH)My only hope is that i'll be able to cram in the remaining 80% of the work by midnight, so i can wake up (yes, that is a very difficult thing nowadays) for the 9am exam. cheerio, mates.
Which reminds me..i have to record this...yesterday night was one of the most amazing nights when our 3rd year class descended to eric, jon, abe and jeremy's house's garage to whip up one craaazy private singalong, fuelled by a keg of crappy beer, a drum, guitar, bass, and a crazed singaporean, who i think had a pretttty good time.

Even though i'm now suffering under the massive weight of an exam, a 3000 word paper, a way too long 55 page report,
and a project report, i'll be with all of you in heart and spirit. I guess even the school knows i'll be spending the festive season on a plane, so they put up a two storey tree just to honour me.
The hours in studio certainly took their toll on this tired mind...dazed, confused and bored, i grabbed the camera and roamed the studio...and found the most interesting subject matter. that's right.
the most engaging content ever. you'd be surprised at how colourful some of these are. what's more, each one tells its own story. no prizes for guessing where these are taken...
this one is for a certain 'minimalist' i know.
you wonder why these are here.
i like this one... its intriguing.
on that note, i think
every room should have a blackboard wall...
