Rare Wordy Post From JJ

So i gave up the job to be a part time promoter at Nokia. Why? Because they've been 'postponing' the launch of the new N90 phone, (which is an elephant of a handphone) week after week after week. Had i worked every weekend till now, i'd probably have a thousand bucks in the bank already. So i was thinking...maybe i'm not destined to be a promoter. I was made
for a greater purpose! a higher calling! (haha)

So i went to the dentist the other day at NTUC Denticare at Shenton Way for an innocent checkup. According to my mommy dearest, my teeth miss the dentist and haven't seen him for more than a year, so we have to go pay him a visit. Turns out mr dentist is in the mood for plucking, and he used fear tactics i swear to get my consent to yank out my right wisdome tooth, leaving a crater in my mouth. Bloody, stitched up and Big, that thing's gotten me on a liquid diet for at least 2 more days...and no smoke or alcohol, so sorry guys, no beer and shisha for a while..

Last of all, I'm all moved in and pretty much settled into this new Clementi Park estate, which has a great compound. a big one too. the place has a HILL in the middle of the whole estate, a hill which has exercise stations, bbq pits, small pavilions and even a friggin tennis court at the top! i like this place, too bad we're moving after a year or so. Think i'll try to get a few shots of this current place in for the benefit of those who can't visit. (read: get your asses back in singapore) That's it for now. Liquid diets don't afford me much energy, so i guess 2:30am is the best i can do for now. GDnite.

Just realised why the pictures i took with my phone were so blur. Cos i
didn't take out the clear plastic sticker stuck on it, which is probably
scarred with thousands of scratches..Duhh..i knew i didn't buy a lousy camera
phone..

Goodbye University Walk

Well, after 8 years or so in the trusty neighbourhood that is University Walk,
after years of telling the cab driver that my house is NOT in clementi, i have,
ironically, moved my fat ass to Clementi Park. Reluctant to leave, i snapped a
few photos of my beloved semi-detached with my trusty V3...so forgive the pictures
for being a little pixellated..*sob*
Anyhow, it seems that certain people are more sad to see the house go than me, for
example jempoh who screamed 'NOOOOOO'when he heard i was moving. It's alright jem.
And to all the people who've visited me and my humble entertainment room downstairs,
played xbox with me, listened to me strum my guitar and belt out awful tunes, or just
sit, drink, eat, talk and get stupid, thanks for the memories; 15 University Walk
will forever live in our hearts. *sob*

Chrysalis is Back!
Hey folks, i'm back..have lots of photos to share from the trip.
I think one big thing i've realised from the expedition is that the
things that we see as 'problems' in our lives aren't really real problems
at all..for example compare not being able to get that nice shirt or blouse
in a size M, to not having a roof over your head..to having your house literally
washed away. its humbling! when you see things for yourself, it makes you want
to do something. and after you've done it, you'd probably wanna do more. The
trip was heaps of fun too, thanks to the fun team that i was with, it was
a real treat to have 'em around... I've got a snapfish album up, complete with
